This is Shell Beach made up of millions of tiny shells up to 10 metres deep and stretching over 120km.

There is a quarry where the compacted shells (Coquina) are cut into bricks to make repairs to the Heritage buildings which used to be built of this.

At Hamelin Pool the old telegraph station is now a museum.

We stayed at the caravan park at Hamelin Pool and did day trips to Monkey Mia and Denham.
