This is a hidden little dock we found with a view of the Ponte Rialta, from the opposite of the famous side. We ate dinner here and watched the 100 dollar gondola rides go by...

Venice was lovely, crowded a bit and pretty hot. We got away from both by going the alternate routes throught the city. We were pretty happy with the dock we found. Awsome view and no tourists!! We were only in Venice for a day, but that is about all we needed. It is very expensive. We checked a menu at a place in St. Marks Square (didnt include pics) that had a Jack and Coke on the menu for âÃ16, that is about 20 dollars or more American...
