This is the road near Scarbourgh just north of Wollongong, the old road suffered from many rock slides so they built the new road about 50 metres out into the ocean and away from the falling rocks.

The first stop south was Vincentia where we paid a overnight visit to see Max and like last year he is looking really good.
Then we moved onto Ulladulla, Bev spent some of her childhood holidays here so we spent 4 days looking around the area, the big thing that we have both noticed down here on the coast is how rugged it appears compared with the Qld coast, down here it is shear cliffs and rocky outcrops where as up home it seems so much flater with more beach's.
We then headed down to Moruya and done the same thing had a good look around and done a bit of fishing with the usual results no fish.
Our final stop on the coast was the town of Bega famous for its cheese and apart from cheese theres nothing much else here, we done a day trip to Eden which was much nicer and a bit more interesting.
Well it was time to head west to the snowies and I managed to see the local paper which showed Brown Mtn a very long winding and steep range that we had to cross closed due to snow, I kept this from Bev as she has been worried about the trip over, when we reached the top of the range I told Bev about the photo that I had seen and not 2 minutes later we seen our first snow on the side of the road, she was not impressed as we were still 100 klms from Jinderbyne. Well we made it and I will continue in the next update
