Iceland Part 3 (Sample Diary Entry) - 20th - 30th August 2004

Still here in Iceland. I'm becoming very settled. I could spend much longer here but all adventures have to come to an end eventually.

I've still got a few more days here, I'll post some more entries shortly.

Photo Caption 1
My home whilst in Iceland :)

Seriously though, this is a traditional Danish home.

Photo Caption 2
My Holiday House! This is a traditional Icelandic home from around the 17th Century.
The grass is used as insulation.

Sheep are used to mow the roof :-)

Another picture of Reykjavik. I'm posting this photo to dispel the myth that there are no trees in Iceland. The photo says otherwise.

Icelandic art. All over Reykjavik you can find works of art such as these sculptures.
